Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Head Chef to join our culinary team at an upscale banquet hall. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality meals. If you have a passion for food, excellent leadership skills, and a creative approach to menu planning, we would love to hear from you.
Duties:
- Manage and supervise the kitchen staff
- Oversee food preparation and production to ensure consistency and quality
- Execute dinner service for parties as large as 500
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new dishes and improve existing recipes
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Assist in food preparation during peak times or as needed
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, flavor profiles, and food presentation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Knowledge of food service management principles
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
